Can You Believe That This Little Princess Can Cause So Much Trouble?!

November 23, 2008

Well, her father and I can . . . like only we know!!

This is just today by the way ~

  • She spilled an entire glass of orange juice on the floor at lunch. Ugh!
  • Put two rolls of toilet paper in the toilet . . in her words (to soak up the pee!) LOL
  • Spilled MY orange drink on the carpet in the bedroom, 'cuz she just wanted to hold it for a second.
  • Placed an on-line order at Amazon.com.  Yes, you read that right.  She saw a Snow White Princess view-master reel that she said she REALLY wanted.  I had told her to put that on her Christmas list and what do you know? . . . .  I came into my office and was SHOCKED to see that I had an order confirmation in my e-mail box for Kasen's coveted item.  I knew I shouldn't have taught her how to use the mouse! LOL
  • She did a huge leap onto Brad's chest while he was in bed this morning.  When he yelped in pain.  She said "I'm okay! I'm okay!" haha  That WAS kind of funny!!  Well, to me anyway. ;)
  • She would NOT listen when we told her that Spike (our cat) does NOT like Moo Shu Pork.  She kept trying to shove it in his mouth anyway. *sigh*
  • She woke up before 6:00 a.m. this morning and wanted marshmallows for breakfast.  Uhhh, I don't think so, and it's way too early to get up anyway.  I finally convinced her to go back to sleep (with us, mind you) until 8:00 a.m.  I AM grateful for that extra few hours of sleep.
  • She tore a book at nap time.  I kept telling her to stop, but did she listen to me?  Of course not, she grabbed the flap on a "lift-the-flap-book" and tore that thing right off.  She said that she really needed to see the boy behind that flap! Destruction is her middle name . . . or it should have been! LOL
  • Took a ball point pen and marked all over my photo mousepad.  It's a picture of Kasen by the way.  When asked why she did that, she just smiled proudly and said "Yeah, I colored that!" *sighing again*
  • Huge argument ensued over the brushing of Kasen's teeth.  A time-out was awarded.  When time-out timer went off, Kasen said "I think I'll stay in time-out just a leeeeetle bit longer."  All explained while holding her tiny forefinger and thumb together to prove just HOW little. LOL

Whew, a day in the life!!  It seriously is crazy and if you wonder why we walk around with dark circles under our eyes, just go back and read some of The Capers of Kasen. :D   We keep thinking it's getting better, but we've definitely been on this merry-go-round for some time now.  Just click here and you'll see what I'm talking about! LOL

See ya' later!!

Sue Berk: yes, Karen, she sounds just like Emma! And we have the dark circles, too...!! Had fun at the photo shoot today and can't wait to see the photos! Sue

Nicole: OMG Karen, I called Kevin over and made him read this asking him "Does this not sound JUST LIKE a day in the life of our precious toddler? LMAO our girls are kindred spirits :)

jane kittleson: Karen, Keri and Kasen are soul sisters...Our dog is wearing a pink tutu (with Hello Kitty underwear). They do not slow down they just get more creative... Hope everyone is well soon. Have a great Christmas.
