This Smile . . .

November 27, 2010

melts my heart.   This was taken today, just having fun at the park. :)  I love everything about this picture – Holden’s smile, the sun rays on his clothes, that sweet wispy hair glowing in the sunlight, Brad’s hands there to protect his son, the beautiful fall colors and the gorgeous blue sky.  My boys, I adore them. :)

See ya’ later!

Sneaking Back In . . . .

November 11, 2010

slowly. ;)  I just thought I’d pop in to let everyone know that’s been contacting me that I’m still alive.  We’re super busy dealing with all kinds of everyday stuff and raising two quite spirited children. LOL  Some things minor, some things are pretty involved, but we’re working on it every single day.  Thank goodness for wonderful friends whom are super supportive.  I don’t know what I would do without them.  And now on top of all of that work, which is extremely exhausting, we have two sick kids on our hands.  Along with the sickness, I have one little boy that’s been limping for about a week now. :(  We’ll be seeing the doctor today for the sickies along with the limper – can’t wait to hear what the doc says.  Currently, I’m the only one well (well, maybe not mentally, but physically (okay, except for that *little* shoulder thing)). :D LOL  Tough job being a Mom!

Hope to see ya’ soon!!

A Night of Trick or Treating

November 1, 2010

I’m finally back, but whether I get in the groove of posting regularly is yet to be decided. LOL  I’ll try. ;)  I’ve had shoulder issues, went on a girls’ weekend trip to Florida, been on several doctors’ appointments, and just working with our two children has kept me more than busy.  I’ll come back soon and post some pics of my girls’ weekend – it was FANTASTIC and much needed.  I’ve been working on the pictures and I’m loving them . . . mostly for what they mean to me.

As for Halloween, we had a blast.  Kasen had picked her costume out early and was very strong-minded that she would be a Go-Go Dancer.  Even though I wasn’t sure in the beginning, I have to say that I think it is probably my favorite costume of hers thus far. And Holden, well Holden was our fierce lion and he couldn’t have been cuter.  He was a lot harder to get pictures of because he just never stops moving.  We pulled out all of our tricks to get him to smile and all in all, I’m pretty proud of what we accomplished. Kasen had some cool dance moves of her own and a few that Brad and I taught her.  She was the bomb tonight and she got lots of compliments on her hot pink wig and her cool go-go boots.  Tonight was definitely a success! :D

Without further ado, here are some pics of our Halloween evening.

See ya’ later!!
