Uninspired . . .

September 10, 2008

tired, slow, whatever you want to call it . . . I just haven't been taking as many pictures lately.  Maybe that's because I've been doing mostly photo editing, only when my shoulder hurts the least, which isn't very often anymore. :(   Thankfully I'm going back to the doctor next week to see what can be done.  It's no fun to wake up every morning to throbbing pain . . and especially going on two years now!! YIKES!!!  Nothing I've done seems to be working and I fear that surgery may be the only option.  However; right now, I'm ready for ANYTHING to make it stop hurting.  Oh yeah, and Thursday through Sunday, I took care of the sickly gang – thankfully they're both better now and I didn't catch anything from them – that's my cheery news!!! LOL

Here's my cutie, giving me the stare down!! LOL  Don't you just wonder what's going on in that pretty little head of hers???

P.S.  I've been working on Kasen's monthly letter, and I should have it posted by this evening. *crossing fingers*

See ya' later!!!!!!

Thanks to the previous owners of our house, we have a huge problem . . . onions!  Yuck!!  Now, don't get me wrong, I like to cook with them and I like to eat them, but they are difficult to eliminate in your yard.  We have one area in our backyard that is full of overgrown onions and they have produced these pretty white flowers . . . BUT . . . . . they are attracting LOTS of bees.  Have you ever tried pulling up onions??  They make your hands sticky and then they stink for hours.  It's a little too dry back there to dig them up (believe me, I tried), so I'm thinking we're going to have to bring out the big guns and spray them with something.  I'm tired of the onion smell and I'm tired of the bees buzzing around my ears!!

However; they do make for a pretty picture!! ;)

The N’s

My nephew and nieces that is . . . whom I miss terribly!!  They are always so gracious and allow me to take their pictures when I'm visiting in Iowa.  They are so used to Aunt Karen having a camera in their face all the time and never complain . . . . hardly. LOL  They are seriously the BEST kids and I'm so proud of all of them.

Here they are ~

I miss you guys!!!!!!!!!

Ten days old.  Brand new.  Beautiful.  Sweet.  Adorable.  Miracle.

Now everybody say, "Awwwwwww!!!"

Sweet little Summer, she wasn't too terribly thrilled with her photo shoot, but when she did relax and fall asleep, we moved FAST!!  Thank goodness, because one second after this, the bliss ended. LOL

See ya' later!!

First Day of School

September 2, 2008

Well, it went without a hitch!! Yahoooooooo!!!!!!!!!!  No tears, no suffering . . . from me!!!!!!  Of course it helped that she went last year and she has one of the same teachers this year.  That made for a pleasant morning and it left me very relaxed on my drive home from the church.  I so remember last year on her

See ya' later!!
